Every year, the K-12 School Networking Conference features a debate on a hot topic in education technology. This year’s debate will feature perspectives from education law, industry and national policy. All conference attendees participate in this key event.

This luncheon is the Exhibit Areas kickoff event. It is the first opportunity attendees will have to meet with exhibiting companies. It does not compete with any other conference event, enabling the event sponsor to gain exposure to all conference attendees.

Plenary Session Luncheon
Thursday, February 28

This sit-down luncheon will feature a panel discussion on emerging technologies and their effective use in schools. All conference attendees are invited to this luncheon, the closing plenary event for the K-12 School Networking Conference.

International Symposium Sponsorships

Titled How Children Learn with New Technologies: Connecting Research to Education Policy & Practice, this event will bring together researchers and education leaders from around the world to investigate practical implications of education technology research on teaching and learning. The event will be hosted at the Embassy of France and is supported by the Goethe Institut. Anticipated attendance is 150 educators from around the world.

Opening Banquet $15,000

This event on Thursday, February 28, 2002, will kick off our international symposium. Featuring remarks by US Under Secretary of Education Eugene Hickok* and European Union Schoolnet Director Ulf Lundin*, this interactive session will set the stage for a unique educational experience on Friday, March 1.

As a package, these two meal events will provide exposure to over 150 key education technology decision makers from the US and around the world.

General Event Sponsorship $10,000 (2 Available)

This full-day event will include three panel discussion sessions featuring international education leaders. Discussion will center on practical implications on cognitive and social research about the way children learn with technologies. Sponsorship includes recognition in printed meeting materials, marketing materials and mentions in conference opening remarks.

At the CoSN Conference, you will have the opportunity to meet with leaders from federal, state and local education organizations, industry and national associations. The conference holds several events in the Exhibit Areas to attract participants and speakers to your exhibit. School District Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Conference

Scholarships--minimum of 15 scholarships at $500 a piece
CoSN is launching this new scholarship program to enable key school district technology leaders to attend CoSN's K-12 School Networking Conference (February 26-28, 2002). Sponsoring company and/or CoSN may select scholars. Scholarship includes cost of registration. Attendee must pay travel and lodging expenses during conference. Scholars must agree to participate in the pre-conference Capitol Hill Advocacy Training and Visit. Sponsoring company will have the opportunity to meet with the scholars during the conference, if desired.
