Theme The 10th Annual K-12 School Networking Conference brings us back to the heart of downtown Washington, DC on March 22 & 23, 2005 for a provocative examination of the uses of technology for transformation. The information technology world has changed dramatically in the past decade. Technology has transformed virtually every aspect of daily life. Developments in technology have also had a profound effect on K-12 education. However, too often technological improvements are used to automate administrative tasks or augment existing programs and methodologies. This year’s conference will examine the ways we can use technology creatively and fully to alter fundamentally the teaching and learning environment for students benefit. Join school technology leaders and decision-makers at CoSN’s K-12 School Networking Conference as we explore ways technology can be used to create new approaches to teaching and learning and to move beyond pedestrian uses towards transforming the K-12 educational experience and improving student achievement.
