Local Travel Information

The Hyatt Regency Crystal City is less than one mile from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), 40 miles from Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI), and 30 miles from Dulles International Airport (IAD). METRO Rail & Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel Shuttle: The Washington, DC metropolitan area is served by the Metro system, which includes subways and buses. The Crystal City stop on Metro's blue and yellow lines is under a mile from the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. More information about Metro is available on the Metro website at www.wmata.com.

Complimentary shuttle service is available to and from the Crystal City Metro Station daily from 5:30 AM-12:30 AM. Take the escalators from the station up to the street. Once you are at the top of the escalators, turn to the left toward the brown Metro sign. The Hyatt shuttles stop at the corner. Pick ups occur at 10 and 40 minutes after the hour. Look for the blue van with white lettering. Walking time to/from Metro Station and the hotel is approximately 10 minutes. Crystal City Van Shuttle: The hotel shuttle leaves the hotel every 30 minutes on the hour and ½ hour and makes a loop to the following areas: Crystal City Metro, National Airport, Crystal City Underground Mall, local restaurants.

 

Crystal City Trolley: The trolley is available throughout Crystal City, cost .50 cents per ride. Pick up at hotel in 7 minute intervals, MON-FRI 6:00 AM-6:30 PM.

Taxi: Taxis in the District operate on a zone system rather than by meter. Information about the zone system is available on the DC government website. Taxis in Northern Virginia operate on the more customary meter system.

Rail: Amtrak serves the Washington, DC metropolitan area via Union Station. Visit www.amtrak.com for details. The Hyatt Regency Crystal City is approximately 5 miles from Union Station.

Airport Transportation

To/From Ronald Reagan National Airport: Complimentary shuttle service, provided by the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel, is available to and from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport daily from 5:30 AM-12:30 AM. Shuttles run continuously. Pickup every 30 min at the top of the hour.

Taxi: Taxi service from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel is approximately $5 one way. Taxi service from Dulles International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel is approximately $50 one way. Taxi service from Baltimore Washington International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel is approximately $70 one way.

 

Train Station (Union Station): Taxi service is approximately $13.00.

MARC: From BWI to Union Station is approx $6.00 and the cab from Union Station to the hotel is $13.00 approx.
