Submit a Proposal for the CoSN 2009 Annual Conference
Plan to submit a presentation proposal for CoSN’s 14th Annual K-12 School Networking Conference scheduled for March 11 & 12, 2009 at the Hilton Austin Hotel in Austin, TX. We are soliciting educational presentations around the conference theme: “Leadership, Policy, and Innovation in A Collaborative World.” Share your experiences, research and ideas by submitting a proposal to present by the July 14, 2008 deadline. - Select the track/subject area that best fits your presentation. Only one may be selected. Choose from:
- Content and Integration
- Accountability and Assessment (Benchmarking, Formative & Summative/High Stakes)
- Leadership for Transformation
- Innovative use of Emerging Technologies
- Professional Learning for Technology Leaders
- Supporting Research for Technology Implementation
- Business Operations
- Identify which framework of CoSN's Essential Skills your presentation/topic best relates to. (Check all that apply)
- Leadership and Vision
- Planning and Budgeting
- Team Building and Staffing
- Systems Management
- Information Management
- Business Leadership
- Education and Training
- Ethics and Policies
- Communication Systems
- Provide a short presentation summary in narrative form (150 words or less). This summary should state what the audience will learn/benefit from by attending the presentation. Remember to be clear and concise and provide relevant evidence of improved student learning as a result of the program, resource or information to be provided.
- Provide short biographical sketches (200 words or less for each presenter).
- List three objectives/learning outcomes for the presentation. Learning objectives should be application focused (i.e. apply, analyze, develop, assess, examine and evaluate).
- Provide a concise description of your proposed presentation in narrative form (450 words or less). Please avoid acronyms, abbreviations and bullets.
