The UK has had a decade long commitment to innovation across government, and particularly in education. Innovation can bring excitement, enjoyment and success into learning. It can transform traditional teaching and learning into models fit for the 21st Century. One of the most exciting UK innovative strategies began in September 2008 when the government created the Home Access Program, providing computers and connectivity to low-income families so that children are able to enhance their learning at home. In this session we will break down the concepts into major categories and interactively discuss tips for getting started. This discussion will include an overview of CoSN’s energy usage calculator.
